What
is an ASPI driver?
An ASPI driver is required for DVD ripping. Windows 95
or 98 comes with the ASPI manager pre-installed, while NT does not.
To tell if you have an ASPI manager installed, look for a file called
WNASPI32.DLL in your Windows system directory (c:\windows\system or
c:\winnt\system32 are common locations). If #1 DVD Ripper is unable
to find the ASPI driver ,you can download a ASPI driver from here
Audio
Video out of Synth
on some NTSC dvds this problem does occur.please try to change
the output
framerate to 23.967 or 29.97 then change the combinations of force
24hz and
audio/video sync option(select them both or one of them or none of
them),try
to rip 5 mins to see which combination works, because some NTSC disc
have
fake framerate (note as 23.967 but actually is 29.97) so it will be
a little
hard to rip this kind of disc.
Can not rip protected DVD,why?
Please download original version at dvdtox.com
to rip protected DVD.SE verison does not rip protected DVD.
Force
24hz error
sometimes,#1 dvd audio ripper will
prompt a error windows saying something like force 24hz error, this
error may caused by audio dvd disc, currently only video disc is supportted
and audio disc is not .
white
noice error
sometimes, files created were simply of white noise.
Here is solution:
A: The white noise problem may be caused by 24 bit LPCM. At present,
DVD Audio Ripper only can process 16 bit sound (16 bit sound is standard),
so if the audio track is 24 bit, the output file will be white noise.
You
can choose AC3 in "Audio track" combo-box.(great thanks
to john Gale)
